Camping and Mountaineering Trainings Given at Our Faculty
In order to introduce and develop recreational activities, "Mountaineering" and "Camping" training presentations were made to students of the Recreation Department of the Faculty of Sports Sciences by Elazığ Mountaineering and Search and Rescue Sports Club President Murat BAHÇECİ and Club Vice President Ferhat YOL.
Emphasizing the great importance of applied training and promotions in the introduction and popularization of recreational activities, Recreation Department President Prof. Dr. Mikail TEL stated that adapting to difficult conditions and the materials and equipment used in their education in life are important, and raising students' awareness on these issues is of vital importance in their participation in recreational activities.
In the seminar, where search and rescue activities were also mentioned, it was stated that Mountaineering Search and Rescue activities are a separate area of expertise and require voluntary work.
