    Program Profile
     
    It is aimed to educate a qualified physical education and sports teacher in accordance with requirements of the Ministry of National Education and Private Education Institutions, give to the Turkish sports success trainer and athletes and raise awareness of society for the necessary participation in sport.

    Admission Requirements
     
    Students with aptitude exams are taken. Aptitude exams to get into a good school to graduate from high school or equivalent and Transition to Higher Education Examination (YGS) is necessary to get the current score specified in the instructions. As a result received a minimum score of YGS and Special Aptitude Test scores are calculated in a predetermined formula.     Students who graduated from Department of Physical Education and Sports teaching have the opportunities to working in state and private schools as a physical education and sport teacher and coaching in their expertise areas.
     
     
    Assessment and Grading
     
    Examinations, assessment and grading are held according to the regulations arranged by the University Senate. There are one mid-term and one final examination for each course. Examinations are written examinations however if necessary they can also be performed orally or by practice work. The evaluation of the weights of the courses is determined by the lecturer at the beginning of the semester. The weight of the final examination cannot be less than 60%. The final evaluation is performed by the lecturer.
     
     
    Qualification Requirements And Regulations
     
    Students have to complete required courses in program. In this program, a minimum 240 ECTS credit must have provided and general score average must be minimum 2,00 over 4,00.
